I was contacted by a man named Larry Thompson from doc prep select about my student loans. He assured me that my loans would be consolidated and that if I paid $300/month for 6 months, that$50,000 would be forgiven and I would only have to pay $20/month for the next 20 years. He also assured me that it would reflect on my credit score positively when 6 months was up. They have not taken anything off my credit report. Since then, I can't get ahold of anybody from this company! All phone numbers I had are disconnected! I'm furious! That's$1,800 I got ripped off for!

They call and tell you that you qualify for Student Loan Forgiveness plan and if you hire them they would help you to process all paper work for student loan forgiveness. The fee was around 1400.00 dollars but they made it sound like this is going to be put forth to your student loan because we needed to pay a percentage back on the loans before they could process the rest of the Forgiveness student loan papers. Well they do none of that but only find a Bank by the Board of Education called FedLoans to consolidate your loans something that has already been done with my original loan officers Great Lakes. I already was on the same program all Doc Prep Select did was Ness up all my Student loan programs I had already been on. After hearing from FedLoans of my payment on my Loans for over 200.00 a month I contacted FedLoans. Well Rita badge number 957209 tells me that I was already on through Great Lakes a federally funded program and that I was scammed. She also informed me that I wasn't even close to the program of Student Loan Forgiveness through them. Rita informed asked if I paid any money which I stated yes. I thought it was a percentage that I needed to pay on my loan to get me in good standings so that company could process my Forgiveness plan. She informed me to file with Federal Trade Commission because I was scammed and featured.

I was scammed over 1195.02 by this company. My email address is [email protected]. I do have documention as well as they withdrew money out of my account. I have other documentation as well. I was led to believe I was in the process of forgiveness of my Student loans through this company. Several times I called to return my money because it was a scam but always led to believe they were in the process of the Student Forgiveness of educational loans. I was informed by FedLoans who now have my Loans that I have been scammed and that is not what they do.

Doc Prep Select phone representative called and told me they are the US Department of Education. If I paid them $1,495 up front they will consolidate my loans and have them discharged immediately from my credit report.
