The scammer approached the target by claiming they had a pre-approved job offering for a Business named Docsdapp. When the target asked if it was doctor appointing app Docsapp (one letter apart), the scammer said the business were aligned. Afterwards, the scammer asked the target to consent to working for the company.

Here's a transcript of the scammer's first message:

Hello [Target Name],

Welcome to Docsdapp Employee Support System.

Your Application from Snagajob has been pre approved to work with us

as a virtual Assistant.

Your experience and vision will be a great asset to this Company, and

I know that the team is looking forward to working with you.

Please let me know if you find that you are available to start sooner

than March 15, 2023.
