They are claiming to be Dodson Law Group but when pressed indicated that they are in the "legal preparation" business. They threaten to sue and come to her place of employment. They also called my client's relatives and threatened them. They will not provide documentation of the debt being owed.

The debt that they are trying to collect on was listed and discharged in my client's bankruptcy.

Contacted by a 239-400-2949 # that said they were a process server. Said I had to call 888-589-9470 and give them my case# tDodson Law Groupo find out if civil or criminal case. Was told it was a gas card from 2002 that I owed $1988, and if they took me to court I would owe over $4000. Said I could pay before they filed with the court, when told I liv eon social security and blind they said my daughter could help me out, she told them know, they could send us some legal documents to look over, they said they would email, they also said they could reduce to a hardship payment and I would only have to pay $900 but had to be done today (12-21-16) or they would file paperwork with the court the next day and I would have to go to court and pay full amount said court would put a lein on my bank account and take all my money. My daughter still refused to pay until a lawyer looked over the papers. Today 239 # called again, my daughter told them she knows this is a scam and not to contact us again.
