Donald Fernandez posed as the broker of a property owned privately in Boston, MA. This apartment was listed as a Craigslist ad. I made a rental agreement with him via email and made two wire transfers to reserve the apartment I was going to rent for three months. He sent me all the documentation I needed to reserve the apartment including a rental payment receipt that I was to bring on my move in date and he would deliver the keys. Since I paid the "private owner," I have not heard from him. He has blocked my number and has not responded to any of my emails and has not returned my calls. I fear I will be losing out on almost $5,000 of my hard earned money. Avoid him at all costs.
