Total money lost: $79.90
Type of Scam: Online Purchase
I placed two orders because I never got the confirmation email for my first order. I only received one, both orders placed June 8th. First email response told me to wait until product is received to start return and refund process. After this, there were NO EMAIL RESPONSES and I've tried to reach out four different times. If there is a class action lawsuit being organized please contact me by replying here. Come to find out, their website is no longer in service either. So many other consumers with same situation on https://www.facebook.com/doglyjx/reviews/. What a scam.

On May 25, 2020, I purchased a personalized no pull dog harness and an adjustable car safety belt in the amount of $54.90 Canadian Dollars from a company on Facebook called Doglys. The website states the company is based in New York, was family operated and appeared to be legitimate including testimonials, legal and return policies etc. I received an email right away after the online purchase was made confirming that order #6182 was on the way. I was further provided with a tracking number ************* to be used on ePacket-Yiwu tracking site. On June 9, 2020, I looked up the tracking number to see where the package was in transit and it showed that the product was shipping from China. I had no idea that it was not coming from New York as the website indicated. I sent an email on June 9, 2020 to [email protected] to inquire about where the package was in transit as it was showing in flight and had left China enroute to Canada. They responded by email the next day and indicated that it was currently in transit and should arrive shortly (within 3-7 business days) and provided a tracking app called https://doglys.com/apps/trackorder When you click on the link, it said the link no longer existed. I emailed again on June 19, 2020 advising that the original tracker showed no updates and the tracking link they provided in the email wasn't found. They responded again by email on June 20, 2002 again apologizing for the delay and reiterated all the same information as before. I emailed again on June 30, 2020 and to-date have received nothing back and no product. While online searching for information on this company, I found facebook comments from another company called Dogly. This company was alerting customers that a pop up company names Doglys (the one I purchased from) was not a legitimate company and many customers were confusing the two. The Doglys company responded and said that it was unfortunate that customers were being scammed by this pop up company with whom they had no affiliation. Other customers reported being scammed by Doglys as well, on this legitimate website/company (Dogly). It is my hope that others will be deterred from purchasing any products from this company and that the company will ultimately be closed down. Since I purchased my product, I have seen many other pop up companies showing the same pet harness and products under many different company names. Buyer beware. My next step will be to contact my credit card company to report the loss.

I saw Doglys' ad on Facebook back in April of this year, advertising their personalized dog harnesses. The advertisement looked VERY legitimate, even to my husband who is in IT. I ordered a harness and almost immediately received a text message on my phone that the harness had been shipped. The cost of the harness was $39.95 + tax. My total amount that I paid was $57. + change. They gave me some kind of fake tracking number that can't be tracked. I patiently waited on the harness and eventually put it out of my mind. I continued to see their ads on Facebook. Finally yesterday I decided to try tracking my harness down. I thought I was looking at their website but they use one letter off of their name to make it sound like another website that actually IS legitimate. I emailed that company mistakenly believing they were the company I ordered the harness from. I did not get a response. My husband emailed them and he got no response. I texted them back and got no response. My husband and I both found their phony ads again on Facebook and we both commented to them that we haven't received our harness but they took our money. They didn't respond to that comment. They have already changed their company name too--it has changed several times from what I can tell. Their Facebook page has only been up since March 2020. Many other comments were made from other people on Facebook asking them where their harness was that they paid for, people from all over the world.
