I was given a code to use on the website dogmaBIT.COM to withdraw the funds. First, you need to register with dogmaBIT with a username, email address and password. I believe I did agree to rules and terms when I registered an account with them which I hope doesn't remove all liability. In order to withdraw the prize, you must submit personal information (full name, address, etc.) AND submit personal documentation such as a PASSPORT, NATIONAL ID CARD or DRIVERS LICENSE. In addition to this, you must submit a selfie with the personal documents while carrying a note that says "dogmaBIT.com" and your signature. Your face and the photo ID must be clearly visible as well. Your personal information and your personal documentation must then go through an approval process.
I didn't submit anything besides my full name and address before attempting to withdraw my funds. I did not gain "approval". When you attempt to withdraw the funds, you're asked to submit the wallet you want your funds to go to. I actually did that but luckily I have next to nothing bitcoin in my account. You're told that there is a 0.0005 BTC withdrawal fee.
Once submitting this withdrawal request, you're told: "To withdraw the winning funds, you need to get the status of account "User" by making a verification deposit of 0.02 BTC, 957 USD, 0.6352 ETH which will be credited to your account."
On the next screen when you can make the verification deposit, you're given a BTC deposit address with the note, "Send only BTC to this deposit address. Sending other any coin or token to this address may result in the loss of your deposit." You're also told that the "Minimal deposit amount: 0.005 BTC".
I haven't deposited any money to them but I came here to the ScamPulse.com to warn everyone of this scam. The site looks legitimate. There is a referral program. There is a live trading platform, a cryptocurrency exchange system and even investment plans. There is an extensive amount of text about terms of service, faqs, customer service, security, linking your business with them, 2FA, API keys, anti-phishing protection from FAKE dogmabit websites and many other things. You can submit complaints with a ticket system but they ask that you: "Your question will not be considered if you are rude, insulting, or ask a question that is not on the topic" - which leads me to believe they get lots of angry messages.
I submitted a message to them and got a response fairly quickly.
[1st ticket]
My message: "Why do I need to deposit a considerable amount of money in order to withdraw my funds? Why is personal documentation needed from me as well? Withdrawing from my wallet (in this fashion) isn't necessary on other crypto websites. It makes me weary of the authenticity of this website."
Their response: "Hi, congratulations on your victory! To withdraw winning funds, you need to obtain the status of a "User" account by making a verification deposit of at least 0.02 btc or more (which will be credited to your account) and make one exchange between any crypto currency pair in the amount of 0.1 btc within our platform (for example, btc- eth). After that, your account will receive the "User" status and your winning account will be automatically unblocked for further work with it. Also, our platform uses an automated system through which withdrawals received by P2P or entering a winning code does not allow withdrawing funds without obtaining a status " User "to your account, preventing theft or the use of fraudulent schemes on our platform and provides instant crediting of deposited funds to the account, as well as their withdrawal and exchange between any crypto currency pair. Once again, I congratulate you on your victory. After verification is complete, you will return all your transactions back and unfreeze your entire balance!"
[2nd ticket]
I've messaged them again saying this: "I do not have the funds to deposit in order to withdraw my prize. For that I wish to not be involved with this website. Please do not save, use or share any and all of my data I've ever submitted to this website. Please verify to my email address that all of my data is erased and all of my data will not be shared. Thank you and have a good day."
Their response: "But minimal deposit 0.01 btc!"
My response: "I haven't seen that rate offered on this site. My code offered me 0.510753 BTC but the withdrawal fee is 0.0005 BTC and then I also need to make a 0.02 BTC deposit. 0.0205 BTC total in fees is equal to $979.36 USD. As I've said in my first message, please delete all of my data and do not share any of my data. Thank you. Please do not try to persuade me. I would also appreciate if you verify this is done to my personal email. Thank you for your quick response."
Their response: "ok"
I hope my data will truly be gone from this scam site. This all happened today, 03/02/2021.
