I rented a car for a week and after waiting almost 1 hour we were told they had no more cars. 2 hours after that they finally managed to find a car. Was able to drive the car from the airport to the hotel before it died in the parking lot due to mechanical issues. Dollar had the car towed back to them and I confirmed with the agent many times that my rental agreement and charges would end at that point. Fast forward to the end of our trip, I took the extra time before our flight to go talk to the dollar manager and confirm that my rental was ended to which he said he had absolutely no information and could not help me and it might be weeks before they figure it out. I was then charged for the entire rental and when you try to call the help line it says disconnected. I was one of 5 customers that I had talked to around me with major car failures during their rental stay in Orlando. They also remove the spare tire so if you get a flat; the car has to be towed and you have to go back to the airport and wait in line to get a new one. After getting zero response from dollar and no receipt emailed as promised I had no choice but to dispute the charge on my card. I will never be renting with them again for the safety of my family.
