I was on facebook and saw a ad for Dollar shave club. It caught my interest because it advertised a $5 shave box,which was a one time payment trial. I never read anything about any other charges,except for a shipping which was normal. I sign on to purchase this $5 dollar shave box because it was coming close to my fiances birthday. In order to purchase the box, i had to create a profile. I never, EVER, signed up for a membership. Not only did i not recieve the box that i had purchased, i look into my online banking account to see a pending transaction for $41.61 from dollar shave club. I have no idea how they managaed to do this. So, i follow the instructions they give me about cancelling my membership ( mind you it hadnt even been 30 days since i tried purchasing this $5 dollar box), and it would not let me log in. i tried everything. I never saw any link about cancelling any membership. So, i emailed them personally to try and fix this issue. I told them that not only did i NOT recieve the $5 shave box, but that i never had a membership. i merely responded to a facebook ad to try out the shave box, which i never received. I emailed them again explaining that there is no link to that says "cancel membership". I am so angry and upset that these people charged me $41 for a box i never received, that was supposed to be only $5 to begin with. They were no help at all in their emails,and they have not refunded me my money. As you know, i am one in probably millions of families who are struggling during this Pandemic. i explained in every way, shape and form that i no longer want to be a part of their club aka "scam". All i am asking for is my money back for the item i never received (which was the$5 box) and that i no longer wish to be affiliated with them. They still have not removed the charge, no one has reached out to me by phone only via email. Also, their emails were not helpful at all. they just ran me around a circle tellin me to do the same things that i was doing, which were not helping my issue at all. All i want is my refund, and to report them as fraudulent. Can someone please assist me with this??? i cant afford to lose $41 dollars during these struggling times. If you can get this taken care of for me, i would greatly appreciate
