Type of a scam Online Purchase
I called Dollar Tree Customer Service. I was told "it must have been lost" and all they could do is refund me. Needless to say, I was upset because I had already waited for a month. The rep said I would receive a refund. Next thing I know, I receive an email thanking me for picking up my order. I called Dollar Tree again to let them know that I did not receive the order and was still waiting for my refund.
I made multiple calls. I was then told that the refund was successful. However, I did not see that the monies had been returned. I called my bank to check; and they, too, did not see the monies added to my account. It was recommended that I file a claim. My bank reimbursed me. Unfortunately, I just discovered today (two months later) that my bank REVERSED the claim and debited my account for $32.33. Now I have NO money and NO product.
I went to Dollar Tree website to see my account. NO ACCOUNT; my account was deleted! I no longer even have the EMAILS. They even retrieved my emails. I always keep as a record of my purchases. I didn't even have the email that showed my order. Technology! Dollar Tree ONLINE is a SCAM! Now I don't even have any evidence of the order, except the payment that was posted with my bank. DO NOT BUY AT DOLLAR TREE ONLINE. As a matter of fact, they just lost a customer all together. I can't believe this!
After discovering that I never received the products, my bank re-opened my claim. At this point, it's not just about the money, it's the principle!
