This person goes by the name of Dominic Taylor, claiming to be an IRS Investigator that is using a number out of Virginia. He asks simple questions like your name and address and then informs you that there is a warrant out for your arrest because you have committed Tax Fraud. His partner goes by the name of Stephanie Bailey, claims to be with the Colorado State Police Department and gives out this fake badge # (WD1986).

Dominic gives you two options, one is that he can inform the the local police department (in my case it was Stephanie) claiming to be part of the Colorado Springs Police Department to take me to jail or settle this matter over the phone. That is when I knew it was a scam. Once I ended the conversation, within seconds I get a call from Stephanie and she tells me that she is with the CSPD and is coming to arrest me. What she did not know is that my next door neighbor who I have known for 5 years works for CSPD and ran a check on that name and it came up as bogus badge number. If you encounter this scam know that it is just a scam. I hope this helps my fellow Americans!
