I received an email from [email protected] claiming to be hiring a remote bookkeeper for the law office of Donald P Day in Florida. I called their office to confirm and they informed me they were not hiring and that it was spam.

They wanted me to do a text based interview on the Chatwork app with "Mr Remy Dawson". I did the interview just in case it was real while I was waiting for the real office to be open. They offered me the supposed job after the interview and said they would email me with the official offer with the onboarding paperwork. The paperwork had stolen the logo from the real business and came from [email protected].
