Type of a scam Romance
2. Accepted by me thinking it was a friend of a relative.
3. Initial contact made through Messenger in October. Pleasantries exchanged.
4. Requested photo of my child.
5. Posted and reposted photo.
6. Persistently offered to send me money to help me.
7. Refused but kept offering.
8. Asked repeatedly for Bank information
9. Harassed for weeks with promises of love and help
10. Claimed to be a Military Recruiting officer in Florida
11. Finally gave him savings account info
12. A check was deposited Nov. 29 into my account, which is savings
13. I withdrew 200, amount available
14. Check discovered by bank to be counterfeit several days after edeposit.
15. I now have to pay them. Federal offense. I am the victim.
16. Hundreds of messenger messages asking me to get 2 Amazonn gift cards for him and photograph the back.
17. I did not.
