I received a message from someone claiming to be a friend on Facebook, letting me know that I was eligible to receive money from a government grant. I went to a website for government grants on Facebook - the man said that I would need to purchase an Amex gift card and put 500 on it to receive 50,000. I asked him to take the money out on my $50,000 grant and he said that this could not be done.

I then received a message from the person claiming to be my friend asking me when I was going to send me the money - She also said that she would loan me $200.00 for paying the fee. I do not believe that these messages were being sent from my friend, but her account was hacked.
