Our dog rescue received an email that a family foundation by Ethan Baker and his wife Leslie wanted to make a donation to our rescue. They noted that their financial correspondent had sent a check and to let them know when it was received and deposited. The business seems like a genuine business in Arkansas, but the United States Postal Service envelope came from California. I did some research and found that the exact same signature was found on other checks I found where people had been scammed and they had posted them. The checks look real and are from a real bank with a legitimate routing and account number.
