We are a roofing company this person ask us for an estimate.
The person stated they were diagnosed w/ lung cancer and does not use the phone and only wanted to communicate by email. They stated to just go to the property and get how much they would have to pay for a new roof and that they would sign up. But only by email.
This person has contacted us previously asking us for estimate and if they went with us, could they send us payment and then wire some of the money to a plumber that was also going to do work.
Something seemed off and I did some research and found the property was not in this person name.
After communication today I realized this was the same Scenario.. i researched the property and the this person does not own house.
The person also stated to make us comfortable about going out emailed me a copy of a id with Illinois address.
