Donny Brooks of “Donny Brooks Paving” Stopped by saying he was referred by a neighbor (who later told me that he doesn’t know the guy), offering a great deal on paving with a long story about needing to immediately use material already mixed for a different job that had fallen through. After doing half of the work, he added on many charges to get the job finished. Ended up doing a terrible job and trying to get more money out of me to fix The messes that they created. This was Three years ago. He said there was a “lifetime guarantee” on the work as long as he was paid to seal it every 5 years. He showed up wanting to seal it the next year, but only wanted to charge for sealing, and had no intention of fixing the cracking and crumbling. I refused, and asked him to please never come around again. Someone else came by a week later and offered sealing and repair of the terrible job He said it was very poorly paved, but that he could help. (Ended up that this person was a friend of Donny’s). I thought that he did an OK job of sealing, but because the job was poorly done, the asphalt fell apart in spite of the sealing. He showed back up this Spring apologizing for the unsuccessful job and offered to fix it for just the price of materials. I paid him for the materials and he has never returned to do the job. His name is Jay Cook and he lives in Goshen UT.

About an hour ago, I had Donny,s father (I recognize him from when they were here paving), stop and give me his business card offering to seal my driveway. They now call themselves “Utah County Paving” same crooks new name. I’m afraid that they have fleeced so many people that they have lost track of who they have screwed over and been chased away by. These guys need to be stopped.
