I received a call from Rogers... stating they were receiving complaints about their cell phone services being too costly... so they are offering 30-40% off automatically.... He asked for my name, address, and birth date, which I stupidly gave them.... and also my Rogers account number. He said they would call me back in 24 hours to complete the discount application process.

I got wrapped up with the promotion without thinking... I am sure this was a scam. I will call Rogers on Monday to make sure they are aware of this and hope I will not suffer identity theft...
