This girl first sent me a message on facebook and asked me if I was interested in being a personal shopper for her. What was required: She would deposit money into my accounts/on my credit cards, I would shop for her, and take my commission out, and repeat. This went on for months, and she would constantly pay off my credit cards, have me shop for her and max out the credit cards, and then pay them off again. After about two months, the payments made on the credit cards started being returned to her account, making my credit card balances increase dramatically. She claimed that it was her bank doing this and not her, and she "attempted" to pay off the cards again, which resulted in the balance DOUBLING. So for example, I had a $700 credit limit on one card. After she made several payments to this card, all of the payments were returned and charged to my card, resulting in about a $6,500 balance on my card. She then tried to pay that balance off, and the payment was again returned, making my balance on the card now almost $15,000. She is clever, since she didn't request for the payments to be returned for months, so in the beginning I thought that it was legit and I was making money. Wrong. She is a scam artist and we are working now with law enforcement to catch her and hopefully clear the $30,000+ debt she put me in and rekindle the 460 credit score I now have.
