I was currently in search for a job so I was applying in different companies and websites like Indeed, Linkedin etc. Then I came across an email from Towana Young with email address, [email protected] and she said to email their interviewing Managers of Dorf Clark Industries which is Austin Williams with email address: [email protected] and gave me an interview verification code and link (https;//teams.live.com/l/invite/FEAliwr3uqd10Ahswk) and she asked me to input email ([email protected]) We were in touch through Microsoft Teams. That is where the interview happened through chat after seven questions, he offered me the job, sent me the offer letter and sent me a check amounting to $4700 (check sender is Charles Edgerton with email address [email protected]) to buy some supplies, which I thought was odd but Work for Home jobs needed supplies and he listed down the things I needed to buy. So I printed the check and step by step he guided me all through out the process until I deposited the check into my account through Mobile app and screen shot the confirmation.

I told my wife and family about it then they said I was scammed so we called the name on the check which is Pridestaff we called Corporate office and told the story and they said it was a scam.

Now the person is texting me because of that check and I freeze my account when we found out that it was a scam.

I attached here the copy of the check. I wanted to send some more information but I don't know where and what was the next step. We are also headed to the precinct tonight to file a complain because I'm so worried about our safety they know my address.
