My friend and I parked in the parking lot on Lincoln across from the back of the Mayan Theater on Broadway. For years it was designated free parking for the Mayan so I told my friend we should park there. There was no prohibitive signage in the lot whatsoever. On fact, ours was the only car there in the afternoon of 12/5/24. We came back to the car to find a ticket on her windshield demanding that she pay $33 by 12/18/24 or the price would go up to $53, and, if not paid then it would go to a collection agency. There was no phone number listed on the ticket, but said we could appeal online within 14 days. I sent the appeal immediately saying there was no signage and the appeal was immediately granted and she owed no money. I wanted to follow up with this because many people might just pay the ticket rather than go through the hassle of an appeal. Really dodgy company. I still have the ticket in question and was going to upload a photo of it but didn't see that option
