I was attempting to pay a $25 copay to my Urology (Kansas City Urology Care) by setting up a payment. When I typed kcus.com it "spoofed" my Urology Office and took my HSA credit card information. I got an email saying it was paid but when I went back to the kcuc site it looked different so I called my doctors office. They said that is a common hack they get and they do not charge 3.99 to make a payment. She indicated that they are a site that takes your credit card information so I called and cancelled my credit card but the transaction is still showing pending.

Typed in the web address of the company I wanted to go to in order to pay a bill and was redirected to DOXO.com. Filled out the information to pay the bill but stopped when I realized that they wanted to take a fee and backed out. Re-entered the address in Google and saw the real company underneath the DOXO ad and was able to pay my bill. Informed the company that I was paying.
