Approached for purchase of artwork by a perfect stranger with broken English type writing. Person didn't sound as if they'd ever even seen my artwork as they asked for my art web-site and for me to e-mail photos. I put 3 at the top, and provided my e-mail where she could see more. She wanted to buy all three, would send a certified check, and have her movers (not Fed-Ex) pack and send these to her new home in Merimbula, Australia. When I replied with a business address to send the check to and to deliver artwork to she responded with saying her movers could not get there without additional funds. She wanted to send me a check for $5,000 that I would then cash, deduct my portion of, and send balance to her movers. Not gonna happen...all very suspect from the beginning. I am simply not responding to her again. She had my home phone number and at no time gave me hers or her address, or called me.
