A house was advertised for rent in Weston for $1000.00. I sent an email and a Haitian man called me back and told me that he and his family had to move to California and he needed someone to take care of his home. He said that it would be $1000 a month and $1000 deposit and he would Fed Ex me the keys.

Ha! I told him that wasn't going to happen. He wanted me to fill out an application. I did not. I looked the property up on Broward County property appraisers and then I asked him what his wife's name was. It did not match the name on property appraisers as the owner. I told him so and did not hear back from him.
