Some flags for me were that though I receive contact info, it is usually from my website and this came in cold. The "Dr" did not exist in any New Brunswick doctor directory. The fact that he chose 3 very large pieces (2 of them are 10'x10'). Some of the spelling/grammar mistakes in the email - the language seemed "off". And finally that he wanted the art for his new home in Sydney Australia. Well, maybe a doctor from New Brunswick retires to Australia, but if you are not familiar with all things geographic, you might mix up Sydney Australia and Sydney Nova Scotia.
Anyways, I was thinking that the good Dr might be trying this or has tried this with others and I wanted to share this. This is a tough one because as an artist, you wish for such a purchase but I know this isn't real.
