I order a product from this company with the understanding the total would be $16.90. ($14.95 + $1.95 ) After ordering, I was offered a "free" drain clog kit at no charge. The catch is when they throw in this "free" offer, you are then billed for another shipping charge which now is at $11.90! My first attempt to contact this business by phone proved fruitful. The customer service representative could not explain why I was charged an additional shipping fee. Finally she said when they throw in the "free" kit the mailing service has the right to tack on additional charges! This free item weighed almost nothing. When I offered to return the package, it would cost me mailing fees to return the item, plus they would only refund the cost of the item minus the shipping ($11.95). So that means I would have to spend $23.90 to have it returned! When I further complained, she said if I didn't want to return it she would refund me $8.97. I have disputed this charge with my Discover Card Company and they gave me provisional credit while they investigate my claim. To me this is a complete misrepresentation of what the original total should have been. Their mailing service is UPS Mail Innovations which to my knowledge has no affiliation with UPS company.
