I thought I was buying a puppy. The scammer was texting me pictures of the puppy and was trying to fly the puppy out to me asap. I paid for the puppy through Zelle and then I was told there was an additional insurance fee before the puppy would be put on the plane. The puppy had a stop in another state and I was told pay an additional for a temperature controlled crate. If I did not pay, the puppy would not be sent and I would be sued for abandonment and charged with a quarantine fee.
