time online where you could get in touch with someone for free. We met and started texting. He sent me two or three very long and intricate emails that laid out all kinds of info about him and how he felt about relationships, etc. Sent me his website with a picture (dreamhomes-architect.com). There is even a picture of someone on the site as CEO.
We texted and talked several times. He was "working" on blueprints and even sent me pictures of them on text. We had well over 1000 texts between us as well as a couple of pictures. He said he was going to NY to meet with a possible new client. Made up stories about the whole trip including pictures from the plane and his room in Manhattan etc.
Once a week passed he said he got the contract and was flying to Cyprus to meet with the client who was a general and he was working on plans for him for a house. Once he was "there" he spun a big story about them having him stay at the military base and and giving him two guards because of the location. He said he had a big building to demolish before work could begin. Then he sent me pictures of his laptop and phone where he said he dropped them and both broke. This is where he then told me his card was maxed out and he couldn't replace it and could I help him.
He sent me all the specs and it turns out it was a $2000 computer he needed. Up to this point everything seemed believable even when he offered to send me his house key because I had people being evacuated because of storms and he told me where he kept his money at home and I could use it.
Once I told him I couldn't help him he tried a few times to let me know he didn't know what he was going to do. When I asked him how he planned to buy a ticket to get back to states I think he figured out he was messing with the wrong person to scam. He has disappeared now.
