In 2023 he’s still doing it. Using a fake name “Owen” and a fake business “Stone Age Canada police report filed in Niagara region.
The [censored] had the audacity to call York police to seem as though I am harassing him. Will he taking legal action against this loser.

I will clear Owen/Omid's name on this one. His company is Stoneage and he buys the stone from Enze. I just got my countertops done with him. It's legit. There are a lot of negative reviews about him and I believe his rep took the hit because of the supplier not completing the work. Owen/Omid himself actually completes his end of the deal. I am satisfied with the work - countertops look beautiful.

Same story as everyone else here. He shows up in a crappy suit looking like a clown. Tells you all these nonsensical stories trying to make himself look like he's an honest and hardworking person.

Sends some other person to take measurements who just stands around and beeps some random things with a laser measurement device. Then takes 50% of the deposit and completely disappears.

Omid Abbasi is a big cheat. He ripped $65K from us and hardly completed any work. Whatever he completed were with deficiencies.

I now have to spend more money in order to fix the mess he created. OMID ABBASI is not answering our calls now. We trusted OMID ABBASI so much and paid him money in advance. We waited for more than 4 months patiently. OMID ABBASI ripped off our house and made it unlivable.

I have hired a lawyer and documented all the proofs. I'll ensure this guy is brought to justice and teach him a lesson. Will keep you posted.

Omid Abbasi is a SCAM. He will attend calls for few days to buy more time. He will stop even calling or attending phone. He last time begging for more time but this all b**[censored].
I am proceeding with my court case. The good thing is he is a know SCAMMER.

I filed a court file against this lier. Do not trust if you anyone in contact with him. He is not going to work or gave you your money back. He is buying new properties along with his crupt group. Hi...the same thing happened to us. Omid Abbasi visited and gave us a quote and requested 60 % upfront . We gave him an advance of $ 8,700 in Aug, 2020 and he promised to finish the work in 5 weeks. The work was never started and after continuous excuses, he still hasn't done any job. We finally agreed on the refund in Dec 2020 and we are still waiting . He's playing hide and seek with so many people

I added my first post on July 17.

As expected, my work is still not done yet. Omid still playing hide & seek with different false excuses.

I am going to file a police case and then a small claim court case against him very soon.

omid abbasi laid to me that he said he is going to start my work on July 12, 2021. he never showed up again.

He must come to Canada and behave like good Canadians. Stop cheating innocent people. No one like cheaters around us. I paid him $8500 on 28 March 2021.

I paid $8500 on 28 Mar 2021, which is about the 56% of my complete amount. The invoice mentioned "60% deposit required to process the order".
Nothing has been started. I am still waiting.

Omid often (sometime did not pick the phone) answering my calls, which is a good thing. But the bad thing is no job has been started yet.

Last time he came to my home and gave me July 05, 2021 to start my work. But I double check the date with him to make sure no further delay occurred. We agreed the work will 100% started on July 12 2021.

Today is 12 July 2021. I got his message he is going to start my work. I will keep you guys update

I hope Omid will start my work ASAP because it is delayed for about four months.

Hi...the same thing happened for us. This guy Omid Abbasi visited and gave a quote and We gave advance of 3500$ In July, 2020 and promised to fishing work in 5 weeks. The work never started and after constant excuses, our requests turned down. We eventually moved out and conveyed the same and asking for refund from Nov. In Nov 2020 I contacted this person named Mr. Omid Abbasi did my house renovation and gave him the money in advance to start the project but within a few days of it he stopped doing work at my home and at that stage, everything in my home was ripped apart like my floor, kitchen walls and sink and was even without water in my kitchen. He stopped taking my calls and if he picked it up he started making excuses. On a number of occasions he promised to come to finish the work but he never returned back and had to spend the extra money with other house renovators to complete the work. This is to request you that can you please bring this person's act to the proper forum and expose this person so as we can stop the harassment which I suffered thru this person and can save my other community people from this scammer and help my fellow community member to save their hard-earned money and don’t fall in the trap of this Omid Abbassi and his team. Also I've updated and cancelled any and all complaints made against him, as he/Omid explained, apologized for all the inconveniences this has caused me and my family. I still go by what I stated in by update below, this was/is a new company that took on way to many jobs and is catching up now. Let he without sin cast the first stone. Forgiveness is key.

Hi Munish ... it's Beverley, I'm a bit confused... the last time we spoke you said that the work was being. You said that he (Omid) just had to finish. He (Omid) actually called me after he left your place and sent over a crew to do my job. I decided to hold off on the kitchen and do all my hardwood floors and the bathroom instead, which is now under construction(the bathroom). As stated in my update below the floors look amazing. I did see some of the work that was done in your home because I asked to see pictures, he/Omid showed me pictures and a video. You made some great material choices it looks really good. BTW the counter top company that he (Omid) sent to do your counters is going to do mine as well. Looking at your complaint, just call him/Omid and have your concerns addressed. I hope this helps.

Please don’t give any contract to this person OMID ABBASSI [ DREAM LAND INC] as this person took almost 9200$ from us to complete the house renovation project 4 months back but hasn’t completed the project and left us in the middle . I've been trying to get my $4500 and my kitchen cabinets back since Oct.13, 2019. ( he was supposed to reface them).Omid Abbasi has stopped answering his calls or text. I've reported him to the fraud squad. I'm attaching a picture of his licence plate and the picture on his drivers licence, the police has these as well.

As mentioned in my last post my cabinet doors have been returned. My option would be that this was a new start up company that fell way behind on the amount of jobs that needed to be done, it looks like they are caught up now. We decided to have our floors redone by Omid and his team, the floors came out great. The attention to detail is 5 star. I suggest that you call him up and voice your concerns and have him and his team come in and tend to your concerns.
