I wanted to buy a maine coin kitten online. Person kept hurrying me to make payment. None of my payments went through to the info I was given (PayPal, Venmo, cash app) Person told me to purchase 2 $500 American Express for $500 each and then send her a picture of front ams back of cards and receipts. I did. She told me I would send the kitten the following day. Then I discovered that pictures of the cat were on other websites with different names and prices. I told her I wanted to cancel and wanted my money back. She said she was keeping $100 for paperwork already done. She never sent me my money, stopped returning calls and messages and took the website down.

I wanted to purchase a Maine [censored] kitten for my daughters Christmas, I filled out of a form on the dredamainecooncattery.com website and immediately heard back from them. This was an 800 dollar kitten with 200 dollar delivery charge as per the email we exchanged. She asked me to use PayPal as method of payment and requested I use the friends and family option, we assumed for tax purposes but have since found out it’s because you can’t dispute it. Nice, right? Never received the kitten and never received the refund they said they had returned to paypal.

Never and I mean never trust buying a cat online. If you Google Maine [censored] kittens for sale they are the first ones to pop up under a sponsored Google ad. We are out a thousand dollars and I hope that every dime they got from a hard working family that 1000 dollars is a lot of money for, brings them the misery they so deserve. Buyer beware. This AD needs to be taken down by Google.

I was looking to purchase an 11 wk old Maine C o o n kitten. I filled out the online contact form and the person responded immediately, told me Dasi the kitten was available. I could cash app him $300 to hold the kitten. After asking several questions, they asked me for another $300 to start processing the microchip information. I sent him another $300 through cash app. Later I spoke to him on the phone, and he wanted another $500 to get the paperwork completed and take ownership of the cat. Also, to send me tracking information to have the kitten shipped to me. I started getting a bad feeling. I did some research and found that this online company has used several different cattery names. I also did a Google image search on the photos they sent me, and the same pic came up under the other sites that have been taken down. So I'm out $600, heartbroken, and i feel like a fool. Do not buy cats online.
