I found the "shop" browsing for a Dremel tool online. When i purchased a version of this https://www.polisherpromo.com/12-volt-max-variable-speed-cordless-brushless-smar...⇄ and went the payment page, i was not able to pay by credit card, but asked to pay by PayPal. In the moment, this actually INCREASED my trust, in some weird sense. When i then went ahead and paid, there was some weird refreshing of the page, and i entered the info again. Then this happened one more time, at which point i grew suspicious. Sure enough, checking on my PayPal account, i had now apparently signed up to a SUBSCRIption payment to 3 different providers (none had the name of the 'company" but other legit sounding ones Lowes, Camden Property Trust, Diamondback Energy...). Also took this up with PayPal, and alerted them that they are facilitating crime, but they failed to do anything and blamed the victim, telling me "Based on our review, we found this transaction is consistent with your PayPal payment history". (Hopefully my credit card company will be more professional). This is the first time i have been the victim of online fraud, and while i clearly should have paid more attention , I must say I'm unsure who to be more angry with, Polisherpromo or PayPal----It is mind-blowing that they aid crime even when directly alerted that that is what they are doing. I am also stunned that, more than 6 weeks on, this website is still functional and defrauding others, so please do something about this soon (and do talk to whoever your contact at PayPal, is, as no doubt they will pay more attention to you than their customers). If there is any further documentation you require, please let me know.
