I contracted him for boat detailing services. Seller provided an invoice and indicated a discount for pre-payment in full. Since I had a friend provide a positive reference, I felt OK with pre-payment. He failed to show ist scheduled day - texted he was on his way but left his equipment home. rescheduled but showed up afternoon and left earlier than promised. Although he was supposed to return to finish the job the next 2 days he never showed up. I got a msg that he had a medical issue but would not return calls or texts after that.

I proceeded with a small claims case and appeared but he didn't. Judge awarded a default judgement for $785.

I have since found 5 of 8 reviews online that indicate similar fraudulent business practices for this business.

He continues to ignore andy attempt to contact him and apparently has no intention of settling the award (by providing a refund for work not completed - I allowed for the work he completed the 1st partial day).

I have complete documentation - transcript of texts, invoice, cancelled check and court judgement.
