Sergio according to him he repairs driveways. Sergio approach my brother and told him he could do my driveway stone finished and says I would be very impress with his work. We agreed on the for 20, 000, 5000 via check to start the work and 15, 000 cash but 5000 after work was completed. He stated he will complete the work, so my son paid him the entire 15, 000 since he gave his word. We verbally agreed on it and also he stated he will give me a 7 year guarantee for the work. I ask for a contract with the details. He was paid 20 thousand a month ago and has not completed the repair of the driveway and has not handed me my contract.

James or Frank rang my doorbell. Said he did my neighbor's driveway and gave me this whole caring story that my driveway needed work which it did. He said he would patch, fill in all the cracks and use commercial sealer with a three-year guarantee on workmanship and materials, and would make my driveway look like new. I thought that was a fair price to what he was selling me. He used one bag of black top for missing piece of blacktop. He did not fill in the cracks and did not sealcoat all of my driveway. He made it look good until the next day where there was no sealcoat and the cracks were not filled in. It took them, meaning he had his kids with him all of a hour.

A young man named Martin knocked on my home door and approached my husband asking if he wanted our driveway paved. He gave him his business card. He said he was licensed and insured. His WC# was a fake made up resembling a cars VIN #.

Although, no harm was done. I want to prevent future scams that result in loss of money or worse.
