John's "Brother," Peter came to the door and said he/they would repair/re-surface my driveway for cost - as an advert to neighbors with 'larger' potential projects. They gave me a low estimate (nothing in writing - doh!) and did an initial portion, "No obligation." Looked good, but used more than twice the material estimated,,,, Cost Climbing but still within reason. They did the first draft all the way down the driveway, using 175+ gallons of material at 39.00 / gallon (!)... and said they'd be back with their sign, More filler material to complete repairs, and paperwork with guarantee, etc... I - stupidly paid in full 6850. and they never returned... Also, the materials they used did a bit of cosmetic improvement but didn't repair or restore a thing. :"(... Called the number on the truck logo - got generic answering service and no call back.
