Scammer offered to repair and sealcoat driveway at a reduced price as a means of getting his business off the ground in our area. He wanted to use our house as a showcase so others in the area could see the quality of his work. He actually came and performed the work. However, after he left, that same evening, it started raining and it became quite evident that the sealcoat he had used was an inferior quality and it started washing off. In our covered carport, where it was still dry, it has already begun pealing off. We have tried to contact him by phone and email since that day and received no response. It appears the phone number he gave has been disconnected. I called another number that he called from one time and it goes to an investment company of some kind. There have been no response to various emails I have sent him, even when I informed him I was contacting my bank for possible photos of him when he cashed the check and when I told him I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau, although he probably isn't too worried since he isn't a legitimate business anyway.
