Contacted by Tina Williams from Dental Group of Tysons, instructed to contact the hiring manager Clement Armstrong. He asked me a series of questions similar to a normal interview, then advised me I was hired, initially the company provided equipment, then he stated I would receive a check for working materials. The laptop would be shipped later, reading through all the Teams messages, the said laptop was supposed to be provided with all needed software, but the check was a start up/sign on bonus, then he changed his wording once again this check was to be used to purchase working materials. I told them I called the Dental Group of Tysons and they stated this was scam, they had received several calls similar to this. Clement was offended and apologetic, but continued to assure me that this was legitimate and actually sent me a tracking number to the check I was to deposit for working material.
