I was led to believe I was purchasing a puppy from a breeder. I found an ad on Facebook and contacted the seller through messenger. The breeder told me her name Grace Copinger and she was 57 years old. She wanted me to pay through the cashapp to Raymond Miller ($contryprice). On Friday June 12, I sent $960 USD to that account for a puppy. Then today, June 15th, I was led to believe that the puppy was being sent to my home in San Diego from Denver Colorado. Grace forwarded me the tracking information, who was dropzipnetslogistic.com with a tracking number C9112A05396N4524Y. When the puppy was ready for travel, dropzipnetslogistics requested a 100% refundable $1450 USD on June 15th for travel vaccinations and special crate, also through cashapp to Niceman ($Niceman01). Once the puppy was in "California" I was notified that I would need to pay an additional $1000 USD for insurance to deliver the puppy. I did not pay this because at this point I do not have legal proof that the dog is actually here. My wife traveled to the airport of which dropzipnetslogistic said the dog was at and the airport is closed. According to their shipper, the dog left on an air freight with DHL from Pueblo Memorial Airport to Oceanside Municipal Airport, due to arrive June 15th at 1500 California local time.
This scammer used random vidoes and pictures to make me believe that they really had the puppy, a Parson Jack Russell.I did not question the use of the cashapp becuase I have used it before and I thought it was better than giving them any financial personal information.
I found out that there is no dog at that airport, no real shipping information through DHL and am requesting my funds get refunded through cashapp, since a service contract on their end was never fulfilled. However, I am unable to make a positive contact about this matter with cashapp through their customer support system. I feel cashapp customer service should have better ways to contact them about matters like this.
