I had posted my resume on Indeed weeks ago, and was contacted on July 5th about a job offer. They claimed to be for the company Drug Discovery and Development, saying they saw my resume and wanted me to interview. They had me download Signal, and then go into an interview with a man named James Robert. Went through the interview, and they said I'd get a sign on bonus of 100 dollars. I was to *use* this for purchasing a 3 in 1 printer, fax machine, and photocopier, a mac, and several other office supplies that would be well over 1k when all was said and done. It was an entry level job, and 35 dollars an hour full time. Seemed too good to be true, but I didn't think much of it until the next day. Something felt off, so I did some digging, and talked with friends.

For starters, the office started in 2019. December of 2019. And they supposedly had enough to pay a 1500 dollar weekly wage?

After that, I looked at their LinkedIn page. James Robert said he lived in San Diego. But looking at the LinkedIn page for DD&D, no one that worked there lived in San Diego.

The bigger thing: They didn't even have any jobs listed. At all.

So I Went to here, to check to see if the business even existed. It doesn't seem to. However it has a social media presence, so there's that.

Just to make sure, I checked the scam section, and sure enough someone else had the *exact* same experience as me. Multiple times, even.
