Contacted by someone claiming to be an officer with the Drug Enforcement Admin. Said my SS# was used in southern Texas in money laundering and drug trafficking activity; bank accounts opened; millions of dollars. Told me they would suspend my SS# and issue a new one, which would happen by peace officers visiting me tomorrow with paperwork. Would not tell me what address they would visit, but that if I didn't cooperate I could be arrested, etc. Sounded like a scam, so I asked for a return phone number, which they would not provide. They asked for info on my checking accounts, which I refused. Then they hung up. Reported the incident to SS.
