FYI, I also received an email response from Grace telling me to message her or Stacy directly through Google Chat for an interview. I didn’t attempt to till a few days later and I emailed back. Surprise surprise, their emails are no longer active. It’s definitely a scam.

I just had a "chat" interview with Stacy at Dryadsconstruction LLC they have a good website but I have never had a google chat interview and a test states I made an 83 out of 100 and I'm hired? They will send a check to me asking for my name, address, phone and what bank I do my banking with. This check is to purchase a large amount of software and Apple MacBook I explained I already had sufficient computer, 2 monitors, scanner/printer hard wired to router but states I have to purchase from their vendor with this check they are sending? This just sounds too good to be true as the test questions are very simple and if you have reviewed my resume as the email states you would know all of this from it and she acted like she knew nothing about me? I'm at the stage to give my personal address, etc. to her but I'm very hesitant; I'm unemployed and really can't be bothered with a scam; if this is a scam and their are already others feeling the same way WHY does Indeed allow them to post ads and just like the others I looked and the ad is mysteriously not up any longer? Help anyone with this? I also looked up this address and it is a residential neighborhood and 6830 is is a very small home! Also found that a James Wall is on the LLC site says this address is his mailing address and the company is been active for 10 months 12/13/2021. Since I responded to the last question asking for my address with a "not so nice" chat and that I knew this was a scam NEVER got an answer back! How can they do hard working people like myself like this and I will be reporting them to Indeed as well and if they won't do anything I'll go further! I'm in need of a job desperately to provide for my family how dare them to lead me on like this!

They want you to cash the check and "buy" whatever you need and then send the rest of the money back. But then of course, the check will bounce and then you're out hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars. Legit companies will just buy the equipment for you and ship it if necessary.
