I was contacted by someone saying they saw my resume on indeed and offered me a job that was a package checker working from home. They said that they would send me packages that I would have to check, take pictures of and upload them onto a dashboard, and wait for a shipping label to send it out. They asked me to send them a picture of me with my id next to my face, and I did. I also uploaded my banking account number and routing number for "direct deposit" onto the "dashboard." It seemed legit because I searched up the company name and looked at their website and I was no red flags. They promised to pay 2000 dollars a month as the base pay and a 40 dollar incentive for every package delivered on time. They also sent me tax forms but I did not fill those out because I started to realize that it was suspicious.
