A pair of Birkenstock sandals were advertised by DSW for 50% off. I purchased through the Facebook interface. I received repeated text messages saying the item was being sent. It took six weeks and I received a pair of earrings.

Offered Under Amour shoes using DSW website. Once purchased received an email from [email protected] advising my order received, processed and shipped. Provided a tracking number via 17Track which provided daily updates for 14 days which then states delivered. I realized it was a scam at that point it just stated delivered to my town not my address. I experience the same generic email responses with check local USPS, then offered 10% and a follow-up was 20%. With AI don’t be fooled. If it looks too good to be true then it probably is. Trust your credit company when they reach out to you if the charge is coming up as fraud.
