They interview me through google hangouts and said that “
The position you applied for is quite competitive so there is no way we can do video.For that reason your undivided attention is needed cause i'm doing it for you and others simultaneously”
Yet, I got the job immediately after an hour of waiting.
It started sounding fishy when they send me an email and I realized the signature is only hr team. No phone number to contact and the job posting don’t say it’s a remote opportunity. Yet, they are offering me $45/hr for designing from home as a contractor. And they want to send me a check to buy things for my home office by buying a laptop and furniture from their vendor. Which don’t make sense because no one pays their contractors for their home office. I am not even an employee. Although they say I could become an employee after 3 months...
They want me to set up my office immediately.
It just don’t sound right.
