"Duct Cleaning Service" calling/harassing continually to see if our phone number is active so they can sell it on a list to other scammers for profit, or use themselves. Root cause to lead to "CRA phone scam", "Credit Card Overdraw scam", "Family Emergency scam" etc.

Not worth it to answer the phone these days...

These people have called me every day since June 8th, 2017. I have told them every time to remove me from their calling list, yet they always call again the next day, using a new number. I have tried blocking the numbers, but they just call with a new one. *** *** *** It is always between the same two people, a man and a woman, who alternate calls. I tell them I live in an appartment building and they immediately hang up without a word. The caller ID always comes up as ONTARIO.

The phone number came up as local and with name Urological Asso. I answered and it wasn't them. I think they were trying to get me to say "YES". I may have said sure or something like that. They offered to clean the air ducts in my home. I had received these unsolicited job calls before, but it bothered me that the caller ID said something different. I was initially caught off guard.
