They took my name, address and birthday, they didn’t take money from me though.

I was contacted via text message regarding a Data Entry job that I had applied for. I sent my resume to Elizabeth Ammann and she was communicating with me via text and email. She then offered me the job a few days later via email with an attached offer letter. She told me to communicate with her through telegram until my company email was set up. Also, she said as was in my offer letter that I would be sent a check for office equipment. I also received an email with my employee portal access information. While communicating via telegram, Elizabeth Ammann said the account manager would send me an email with the check attached and instructions. Just let her know when I received it and send her a picture of the check before I deposit it. I received an email from Rita Brock, the account manager. I did as instructed from her email and replied back as well as sent a picture to Elizabeth Ammann via telegram. I deposited the check into my account and my bank restricted my accounts. I called the bank which the check was drawn on and it is a valid check, but according to my bank....the red flags are that company checks should not be written off of personal accounts and office equipment is usually bought for remote jobs employees and sent to them. So my bank is still investigating this "check" and for my protection, and will close the accounts once they are done so I don't get hacked. This has been an awful experience!!!

Received a text message about an offer for remote work at $27/hr. Took a quiz for skillset that also requested my bank name and received an offer letter that states that a check will be sent to cover office equipment for the job.

I was reached out to about a remote job position via text message, which matched one that I had recently applied to on LinkedIn. Elizabeth Ammann stated she was the HR contact and began emailing with me and sent me a check for office equipment. It all seemed to good to be true and weird to be offered a job without speaking to anyone on the phone. I was sent a check, which I did not deposit and tried to view the website again because it all just felt weird. I then saw the site was disabled and saw that another person had been through the same thing as a scam.

I was contacted by text about a data entry clerk position with rate pay of $27 per hour for Duenorth oncology. The message requested that I send my resume over to [email protected]. After a few days with no interview or further questions, I was sent me an offer letter(pdf) and was asked to sign and return thru email. Once it was returned, an email came in response saying an employee portal was made for me (with a work email and password) following that I was told i needed to make a Telegram account as that would be the main portal of communication until my home office was fully setup. Once in Telegram i was sent a cringy video from Elizabeth Ammann saying how delighted she was to bring me onboard and hope I can be a great asset to the company. Another message was sent saying a check will be sent to me thru email so that i may purchase the needed equipment for work. The check amount was said to be a little over $1000 and should cover the cost for a laptop and scanner. I responded that I would prefer the company to purchase the equipment on my behalf and I am willing to pick it up from a supplying store. She agreed that they can arrange to purchase and mail the equipment. The next day, i was contacted on Telegram saying that the check will be issued and sent to my email. At that point I was alarmed and didn't want anything to do with the company or that check. Previously I've had family be victims of check scamming so that was a major red flag for me. I have since blocked Ms.Ammann on Telegram, Messages and email.

Received a text and email from Elizabeth Arman. Asked I email a resume. Then received another email saying I got the job and attached employment offer saying they will send a check for office equipment

a person named “elizabeth” reached out to me about a job working as a data entry clerk. They sent me an assessment email before employment that was a google doc so that already raised my suspicion. When i didn’t respond to the initial text message she then messages me again saying they sent me an “offer letter” because they were eagerly trying to find employees.. the offer letter looked like a powerpoint presentation in PDF format.. definitely a scam. In the “offer letter” it stated they’d send you a check and you have to pay for the equipment through a vendor of theirs. Another big red flag, and after reading that i immediately knew it was a scam.

I gave my DOB and my address and phone number, this person told me that I had to create an account to be able to accept my W4. Anyway it seems too good to be true.

Contacted via phone at first, application process appears to ask for your name, address, and what bank you used. Did not ask for SS number or account numbers, that may have came later but didn't proceed. Incredibly suspicious, email can no longer be reached / contacted. Probably farming information to sell, potential identity / account theft. It is possible to social engineer your way into people's accounts with just their Name, Address, and which Bank they use - and these guys are very skilled at it so they may attempt to do that.

Received a text from a job I had seen on indeed (or so I thought) it was for a data entry clerk position. I reached back out and did a entire application after sending them my resume. They made a decision and told me to do my onboarding, as I started to do that things started glitching. Mind you I have already signed a contract with them. I look up their website again, I had looked them up several times when I applied and after. This place no longer exists at all. I have been looking for a job for months and was targeted and promised a nice job that would provide for me and where I’m at. It was a whole lie and now I am back at square one trying to find a job for myself.

First there was a text from Elizabeth Ammann requesting a resume to be emailed to [email protected], which I did. Then after being impressed by my resume, a job was offered and an assessment was sent and requested my name and email to sign in which I did. Took the assessment which consisted of a few data entry questions and 3/4 opened ended questions such as describe why I was perfect for the job, what accomplishment was I the most proud of, where did I see myself in the next 5 years, how important was keeping keeping information confidential, and how would I feel if I didn’t receive the position. The next requirement was to fill out an employment form, which I did not because at this point these questions made me think differently about the job because these were of 7 questions that asked: name, email, phone number, employment status, how active was my job search, available start date, and what bank did I used for payroll purposes. That was it, that was all! I have included the websites for the assessment and the employee form.

I was told that the job would provide all equipment and the HR Assistant gave a link to the company. I suspected that this hiring process was going quickly so I wanted to make sure it was legitimate. I could not find any of the team members on LinkedIn who were listed on the company website. I believe that this is not a real company.
