I rented a 20 yard dumpster from this company to clean out trash from our garage. Much of the trash I put in the dumpster was simply large cardboard boxes which do not weigh much. The company has a price for renting the dumpster and an additional 12 cent/lb tonnage fee based on the total weight of items placed in the dumpster. The company wrongly claimed that I placed 16.05 tons of material in a 20 yard dumpster and that the total tonnage fee was more than $3000 even though the dumpster rental itself was only about $300. The company placed my invoice on a payment plan in order to pay for the wrong tonnage fee. I called the company on February 6th regarding this ridiculous weight given that most 20 yard dumpsters typically only hold up to 3 tons. At first they claimed that the weight, determined by a different company, was correct and that the weight ticket indicated the 16.05 tons. They tried to offer me a discount on the tonnage fee even though they knew that this was a ridiculous and unphysical amount of weight that I could have put in the dumpster. I requested that they provide the weight ticket so that I could verify the weight myself. They falsely told me that they would request and email the weight ticket and pause the bank withdrawals until we were able to verify the weight ticket. The company said that they would get back to me regarding the weight ticket but never did. I contacted the company a week later on February 15th asking them again about the weight and the weight ticket and they insisted that they contacted the weighing company and that they were still waiting for a response even though they initially told me that it would only take a day or two to get this ticket. I called them again a week later on February 22nd and multiple times thereafter. About a month after I first received the tonnage invoice, I got them to admit that they had "made a mistake" and that they would resend a new invoice. I still have not received a new invoice or even received the supposed weight ticket. I am still getting bank withdrawals of $750 from this company for an invoice that they claim was being resent. I have recorded some of the calls.
