I picked an ad on Facebook Marketplace on an excavator for 15,800.00. The site was excellent, any information that I needed was professionally done. In the instructions on the site explaining how to buy, it stated that the money would be held in escrow. This was different then the contract. The contract stated that it would be held in a bank account until I agreed to the purchase and that I had 10 days after its arrival to inspect the excavator. If I found the excavator in good condition I could go ahead with the purchase. As noted on the documents attached. After signing the agreement and sending the wire transfer. I had a friend in Kansas where the company was located check up Dynamo Heavy Equipment they found Dynamo with a different address then I had. The website address was the same but the address was different from the one that I had on the ad. This new address was 723 N Wabash Ave, Wichita, KS 67214. The phone number was also different, it was 888-000-0000. I was concerned and immediately called the company. I told them that I wanted my money back now, they said they cannot return it because the delivery was already in route. ETA was 11-13-24 @ 2:00 pm. I asked him again for my money back and you can refund it to me now. On Monday 11-4-24 I received a voicemail from Jessica Jones at my bank to call back asap. I called back 11-4-24 and got her voicemail and left a message . Monday evening I called Dynamo again and they would not answer the phone. I tried punching up their web page and it denied me access. On 11-5-24 Jessica returned my call and stated that the recipient's Bank of America had received a fraud alert, and that an investigation was started and they would try to get money back. Also on 11-5-24 I received a tracking number and entered it and the page would not load at all. I had turned this in to the Wichita Sherriff, FBI, and state of Washington BBB. I plan on sending complaint to the Federal Trades Commission, also filed a report with Facebook Messenger. Since then I have tried to pull up Dynamo's information again and it is not available. On the wire transfer it shows another company name that the money was sent to with no address.

Selling equipment they did not have and from a business that did not exist. Tried to get me to pay from bank transfer. I said I was coming to look at the machine and no response, then asked where their building was and they blocked Mr from messages.
