I saw a 2005 Coachman RV with 53,000 miles for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The cost was $1800 with free shipping. I replied that I was interested. A woman was selling it for her sister or relative. She gave me a code. I gave my name and address so that it could be shipped. She said I would receive an invoice from E Bay. I would have five days to test drive it. She stated that I need to get nine E Bay Gift cards at CVS or Walmart. $200 a card. $1800 for the RV. Each E Bay gift card would cost me $12.99 It shows E bay protection. I knew it was a scam when I had to buy E Bay gift cards. I never spoke with anyone. The same RV is on the market for $2900. I called the real E Bay about this. They have received several calls and complaints. She knew the seller was getting divorced. E Bay stated they charge for shipping. They said an RV would never go for that price.

I had received a scam text that appeared to be from E Bay. I no longer have the phone number. The text stated because of privacy and security concerns my account with E Bay is now on limited service. To restore full service I need to go on the link below and fill out requested information. I did not respond or click on the link. I called E Bay and they stated they would never send out anything like that. I received this scam text last Friday February 2. I do not know how they knew I was on E Bay. I feel many people would have clicked on and given some type of personal information.
