Type of a scam Online Purchase
He figured it was too good to be true so asked them to send a video of the actual puppy as well as the owner's name and address. They did not respond to that request- only to ask if he was going to wire the money. I told him it sounded like a scam so I called the phone number and no one picked up and there was no voicemail message. I looked up the website and you had to fill in your information for them to contact you, no other information about them.
I also googled the phone number and it came back as an Ethiopian from Miami, FL. I know there has been a lot of scams during Covid because so many people want puppies so I think this is definitely one to look into so that no one suffers the consequences.
