I received an ad through the Marcus Cinema website that if I signed up and took a survey, I could get free popcorn at the theater and other freebies. After entering my personal information and creating a profile, I followed a link to take the survey so that I could obtain the free popcorn voucher. The survey was not available. It said "404 page not found". I emailed customer support. I gave them my phone number, address, and I think DOB. This was their response. I un-subscribed. But I would like Better Business Bureau to take away their ability to ask for people's info on the internet. Thank you!

We appreciate your eagerness to participate in surveys. It appears the original survey you attempted to access through the survey invite is no longer available. However, sometimes there might be a technical issue with an individual survey, stopping the start page of the study from loading as it should. This may cause the survey to appear as available again, despite not being accessible when you try.

If this happens we would encourage you to try and access other surveys instead, or please try again in the coming days as more survey opportunities may become available.

We also suggest you clear your internet browser cache. For instructions on how to do so, please go to: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000510.htm. After you have followed the instructions close all of your internet windows and restart your browser.
