“ Dear Shoppers, This is to inform you that the store survey evaluation you signed up for a month ago has been considered and your payment for the first task has been mailed out to you and will be delivered to you via USPS, It includes a Certified Check comprising of your compensation and task fee. Please read the instruction carefully and complete your task on time.Please acknowledge the reply "Yes, I am ready for the assignment" to confirm receipt of this message. Regards, Management !!!”
On 9/10/22 I received an USPS envelope in the mail with a check for $1850.63 and an instruction sheet they called a “Customer Service Evaluation Tool (CSET)”. It seemed a bit strange as I don't remember signing up for being a secret shopper so I went on line to check it out and found out it was a scam.
